As we reach the end of the first half of the summer term, I want to thank everyone for their continued support
and positivity. It’s been a steady and purposeful few weeks, and we’re proud of how the children have approached
their learning with focus and determination. The calm, caring atmosphere across both schools has been clear to
see, and it’s a credit to the way our staff, children, and families work together.
I would like to say how wonderful it has been over the past two Fridays to see FGD present the new playground
toys to the children at both schools. They are thrilled with them and their playtimes will be even more fun now
that they have arrived. The volunteers in FGD work so hard organising fundraising events and activities for the
schools and I would like to thank every parent/carer for your generous donations which make a huge difference
to our children.
Thank you to all our families for the part you play in supporting your children and our schools. As we break for
the May half term, I hope you all enjoy a restful and refreshing week, and we look forward to welcoming the
children back soon for the final half term of the school year 23 5 25
