We are absolutely delighted to share that we reached our £7,500 fundraising target to help bring our new school kitchen to life!

A huge thank you to all the families at Graffham and Duncton and to everyone in the wider local communities who supported our fundraising. Every donation, large or small, has helped us get one step closer to our vision of serving freshly prepared, nutritious meals to our children.

The funds raised will help cover the many costs involved in setting up a new school kitchen and getting our school food provision up and running, including:

• Kitchen equipment and appliances
• Crockery, utensils and other catering essentials
• Chef training and development
• Stocking the kitchen with ingredients and supplies
• The practical work involved in setting up the kitchen
• Supporting the recruitment and employment of our chef
• All the other costs that come with establishing a brand-new school kitchen

Our ambition is to create a kitchen where fresh, nutritious food can be prepared on site for our children, while also creating opportunities for them to learn more about food, healthy eating and where their food comes from.

Reaching our £7,500 target is a fantastic milestone, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible generosity and enthusiasm of our school families and the wider Graffham and Duncton community.
