Last night, Graffham Infants hosted a stargazing event at school, tying in with the current Space topic. The hail and clouds cleared just in time and the evening was a great success. With clear skies and perfect conditions, our young astronomers had the chance to peer through telescopes and binoculars, and discover the wonders of the night sky (with the added bonus of hot chocolate).
The highlight of the evening was seeing the craters on the moon up close – a truly awe-inspiring sight! 🌕✨ Additionally, the children were thrilled to observe Jupiter and its moons, a sight many had only ever seen in textbooks.
A big thank you to everyone who joined and made the evening so special. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn about astronomy and explore the universe beyond our world. 🌠🔭
